SSPC BLOG

I am currently in Junction City, Kansas. To give some behind the scenes I decided to go on this life-changing trip after hanging out, after SSCN college bible study, at Applebees one night with the guys. We dreamed this thing up and began raising money and praying about the trip 1 month ago. God really worked it out and to him be all glory. It is sad to say we have doubts we could raise the 2,000 dollars we needed. We have had a blast so far seeing God move. Today we mowed 2 yards of elderly residents in Junction City. We are participating in 2nd St College Bible Study tonight via Skype and having our own Bible study each night. Tonight we are worshiping with our host family. Last night we played songs and gave testimonies to a church in Branson. Yesterday during the day was our chill time. We needed some rest and fortunate for us Robbie's grandparents, strong Christians, were generous and treated us out to lunch on Table Rock Lake. I did not feel guilty to take a rest because Christ and his disciples often took rests days on the sea or trips into the mountains. Well I must go for we are fixing to have church with our friends in NC. Stay tuned for more. I cannot wait to tell you what God is doing in our lives.
