Second Street Presbyterian Church has been truly blessed with God-given talent over the years to keep the music ministry an important part of our worship.  "The real heart of music is in its meaning--in the truth contained in its lyrics."  Truth is the source for where genuine worship exists. For without any truth, music contains no value in worship. When we worship in truth, through song, it elevates our thoughts of God.  It enables us to take our eyes off ourselves and concentrate solely on God to give him ALL the glory.  The most common mistake one can do going into worship is expecting to be "the audience."  At SSPC, we believe "the audience," is God, and we are the "participants."
